Good-mind works.

In response to Shepherd's asking about what happened with the whole car problem — well, things turned out fine. I took it to my mechanic, who messed with it and replaced a few O-rings, and all is well.

I'd like to thank my tet for the good-mind and all the love.  You guys know who you are, and you are just amazing.  It is beyond my skill with words to express how much I value your friendship, and my gratitude for your having accepted me as your friend.

I love you guys.

I hate real life.

Sometimes real life can be a serious pain.

I’m going to have to take my car back in to the shop, because my power steering pump is shot, or some such thing. All I know is, that on the way home from work, I felt the steering go all sticky, and it was hard to turn the wheel. So I stopped at a gas station and had a look-see, and sure enough, my power steering fluid reservoir was E-M-P-T-Y.

Be a cult member today! Whee! :D

Are you lost? Alone? Miserable?

Then come! Join the Cult of Frunobulax!

Witness! I was unfound, dazed amidst a sea of gunslingers, philosophers, naked women with glittery cleavage, and sheep of questionable pedigree, and I knew not what to do.

Then the Way was opened unto me, and I have found the True Path.

"In the beginning there was only Frunobulax, and in His infinite wisdom He declared "Let there be forums!", and the universe doth shook with the power of his creative force. Where once was nothing there arose the Almighty Kingdom of In this paradise, true believers could bask in His glory and know the true meaning of existence through the everlasting grace of His Divine Postwhoring."

The Book of Frunobulax, Chapter 1, Verse 1

In tomorrow's sermon, we shall learn of the creation of the Interloper (Walter O'dim) and his banishment to the fiery nether-regions of General Discussion for his fondness for sheep.

A wee bit o’ Shepherd’s Pie.

For a friend who will miss me today, a wee present. Don't hurt yourself, now. 😀

Dolly the Inflatable Sheep

Irrefutable wisdom.

A quote, from the lovely, lovely, lovely HermesGirl at

Five tips for a woman….

1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.

2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.

3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to you.

4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you.

5. It is important that these four men don't know each other.

Words to live by! 😀

Threefold return can be a bitch.

Yep.  It sure can.

When will people learn not to mess with me?

I am an Instrument of Karma; when the universe is done balancing the scales, the Law of Threefold Return has kicked in (almost always without my having to do a thing) and Ka has been served, it can be a cruel lesson.

Best you learn from it.  Hear me very well, I beg.

Coming soon to skin near you.

Finally got my new tattoo design together, and I can't wait to get inked!

Mira's tat

It's Gan, the Turtle (see the Turtle of enormous girth, upon His shell he holds the earth… ), with the Rose, 19, the Dark Tower and the symbol for Ka in a shape reminiscent of a yin-yang symbol. On the left, "Ka is a wheel." Which fits perfectly with my being an Instrument of Karma. Then on the right, "Stand, and be true." Both statements are very important to me and who I am.

If you understand what these symbols mean, good for you — hile and well-met, sai.

If you don't, then I won't bother to explain. Pick up Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and find out for yourself, may it do ya fine.

Come, reap.

I've found my second online home — is a fantastic site devoted to Stephen King's masterwork, The Dark Tower. It's the biggest online community for fans of this series, and I'm absotively, posolutely addicted.

I find myself spending more and more time there, and I can't even stay away long enough to read The Dark Tower VII! Agh!

I've had a lifelong love affair with Stephen King's books, and having found truly feels like coming home. The Dark Tower is a defining influence for me (as are Tolkien's works, which recount a similar epic journey and battle between good and evil), and one of the things I'm really happy about is that I finally know what my next tattoo will be. I've had my current one for about 7 years or so, and I've always wanted another done — I just couldn't put my finger on what it'll be.

Now I know, and all the pieces have come together.

As soon as I can get the design together, I'll post it.
