Happy birthday, O Nameless Wonder.

Happy birthday, honey.

You’re busier than a one-legged man in a kickboxing tournament today, but we’ll find time to be together soon. We have all the time in the world to wait for each other, and there’s no rush.

I found the perfect presents to give you — perfect as expressions of what we are to each other, that is.

Geeks do it sideways!

m|ph March 2006Heads up!
Er, sideways!

The new issue of m|ph Magazine is out! And because it’s the best, most fearless, most innovative tech magazine (or maybe the editors are just flippin’ crazy), they went horizontal. 😮

Yes, folks. You heard it right. It’s the Widescreen Issue.

This March, m|ph brings you your usual feast for the eyes and everything your geeky heart and terrified wallet could possibly covet. Plus, the lovely Pia Guanio is on the cover this issue — yeah, she is way hot, I agree, boys. You should see Pia’s other photos inside! Sssssmokin’!

Oh, and one more thing. I join m|ph Managing Editors Art Ilano (who also happens to be the Editor-in-Chief of PC Mag Philippines) and Jayvee Fernandez, alongside Mobile1’s Marketing Manager Jed Quiambao (she was the Fashionable Geek for the… lessee… Christmas issue? Or the January? I forget. But she was fabulous! And she’s a member of PodCentral.ph! 😀 ) and GAME! Magazine Editor-In-Chief Aiza Tancinco for this issue’s Tech Talk. The topic? Geeks and Dating. 😀

Hot off the presses! Go get yours now!

What the hell am I doing in my own bed?

There’s nothing like waking up in your lover’s bed. Having him be the last thing you see when you whisper, “Good night, I love you.” And then having the same person smiling at you be the first sight you open your eyes to the next day.

The Beatles knew everything, Kyle. All you need IS love.

So today is Valentine’s Day. Remember how I feel about declarations of undying love in public? Yeah, I know. Sue me. 😀

Ewww. Sappy. :D

Ever have one of those days when you just feel… soooo… good?

All is right with the world today, and I think I need to wear a sign warning people: BEWARE OF TWITTERPATED, OVERLY CHEERFUL PERSON.

Don’t mind me. I’m just in love something awful.

Now THIS is a man.

This man made certain that I could only love someone who was comfortable in a hardware store, had his own soldering iron, could take things apart and put them back together again — sometimes in strange and quirky, yet still functional ways — and had a killer smile paired with a boyish charm. Lethal, no?

Goooood morning.

The Nameless Wonder and I met for breakfast today.

Normally we see each other after work, when his schedule allows him to sneak off leave the office early. We end the day with some hot chocolate and green iced tea, conversation both silly and sublime, and scandalize the public with shameless displays of affection.

This morning, we began the day together, and I can’t think of a lovelier way to do it. Unless it’s breakfast in bed after a mind-blowing all-nighter, and some long, slow, good-morning-honey lovin’.

Yep, if there’s going to be any lovin’, it’ll definitely have to come before breakfast.

I wouldn’t want his eggs to get cold. 😉

Sweet sleepy thoughts on a Sunday.

It’s raining. On a lazy Sunday afternoon.

What I’d give to be in my favorite spot: tucked in close to my lover’s shoulder, his arms around me, our breathing slow and easy. There’s no safer, happier place, because we’re each other’s comfort zone. We love watching each other sleep, and when we both doze off, there’s nothing more wonderful than to wake and see him smiling gently when I open my eyes.

Oh wait — there is something more wonderful. When I wake to see him smiling at me, and he tells me that he loves me.

For keeps. Wow.

The Nameless Wonder treated me to a sinfully rich demitasse of hot chocolate last night after work.

We were talking about us, and he told me he wanted me around.

For keeps. Read the rest of this entry »

Why I love the Nameless Wonder.

Sometimes I wonder if he’s even human — this brilliant, generous, funny, unbelievably patient, genteel, kind and dizzyingly desirable man who loves me and is always there for me, and will never let go, and whom I shall refer to henceforth as the Nameless Wonder, for reasons only he and I understand. Names have been changed to protect the not-so-innocent, though I believe one or two people may have tumbled to his real identity by now. 😉

A post for Kyle.

Whoever said chocolate eases heartache was lying.

I’m sorry.

Please, come on home. This house is so empty and cold without you.

I’ll be sitting on the porch, waiting for you. I left a light on, so you could find your way home. I’ll wait, no matter how long it takes. Because I love you.
